What it is  Disposable Artificial Insemination Straw？

A thin, sealed cylindrical tube, typically made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene, holding a pre-measured dose of semen (usually 0.25 ml or 0.5 ml for animal use).

Design:Resembles a tiny drinking straw, sealed at both ends with metallic or plastic plugs/pellets. It is designed to be stored and frozen in liquid nitrogen.

Primary Use:Semen storage and delivery.It is the primary container for frozen semen.

How it Works:

    1.  The straw is thawed in warm water.

    2.  One seal is cut off.

    3.  The straw is then loaded into an **AI gun** or **insemination rod**.

    4.  The gun is sheathed with a **catheter** (see #3 below), and the plunger of the gun pushes the semen out of the straw, through the catheter, and into the uterus.
